FORWARD OPERATING BASE HAMMER, Iraq – An early morning raid April 2 in Salman Pak by Company A, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment led to the capture of a Multi-National Division - Center high-value individual.
A neighbor of the HVI came forward and helped Coalition forces identify the individual.
The HVI was number two on the 1-15 Inf. Regiment’s list of HVIs, and number four on the MND-C list.
Company A, 1-15 Inf. Regt., 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, from Fort Benning, Ga., has been deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom since March 2007.
