BAGHDAD, Iraq - Multi-National Division - Center Soldiers and Iraqi National Police working on a joint mission captured a high value target in Jisr Diyala, April 11.
The targeted individual is a known criminal leader in the area responsible for improvised explosive device attacks, indirect fire attacks and weapons smuggling. It is suspected the HVT played a critical role in recent violence in the area.
The removal of this individual will disrupt criminal activity and greatly enhance security in the Jisr Diyala area.
