Every few weeks the Public Affairs Office of the Sledgehammer Brigade distributes their latest news. They call it Hammer Times. It is published for the Soldiers of the 3rd Heavy Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. Just another way to stay in touch.

Just wanted to thank you for all the posts. My son is a medic with the 1-15 at FOB Hammer and without your blog I would not have known about Hammer Times or the Velvet Hammer e-mails. You've made it a little easier. Thanks
